Who We Are

Gorillaz at Kintsugi Studios

Established in 2015, Kintsugi Studios is a boutique music and audio production space in New Delhi, founded by producer, composer and mix engineer Abhishek Sekhri.

We built the studio around a simple belief: “great work happens when artists feel at ease”. The space is designed to feel open, welcoming and intuitive — somewhere you can experiment freely — while trusting the technical precision and sonic depth of a world-class production environment.
Over the years, we’ve worked with artists including Gorillaz, Panjabi MC, Kavya Trehan, Prabhdeep, Tanmaya Bhatnagar and Mickey Singh, and brands such as Netflix, Good Earth and Amazon. We’ve also worked with filmmakers and storytellers including Onir, Samdish Bhatia and Nandini Godara.
Beyond being a recording studio, Kintsugi is a collaborative production house. We work across music production, sound design, and mixing and mastering for artists, bands and visual media — shaping sound that feels personal and globally resonant.

Our Team

Abhishek Sekhri
  • A music producer, artist, mix engineer and composer, Abhishek Sekhri founded Kintsugi Studios in 2015 as an extension of his own evolving practice.

His relationship with music began in his early teens, when his father introduced him to the sounds of Pink Floyd, Enigma, Billy Joel and Michael Jackson. What started as fascination quickly turned into action — he picked up the guitar at 13, and over the years gradually moved across roles: from instrumentalist to producer and mix engineer, working with artists and creators from diverse musical backgrounds.

Alongside his studio work, Abhishek composes, collaborates and performs under the moniker Goya — an independent project exploring the intersection of experimental, cinematic and electronic music. As Goya, he has released the full-length album ‘On Reefs and Eroded Lands We Danced’ which was an original score for the National Dance Company of Malta and has performed at festivals such as Magnetic Fields, while also opening for artists like HVOB in India. His collaborations span a wide spectrum — from assisting Gorillaz at Kintsugi Studios during the production of ‘The Mountain’ in New Delhi, to recording, mixing and producing with artists such as Kavya Trehan, Panjabi MC, Mohito, Mickey Singh, Mir Kashif Iqbal, Prabhdeep and many more.

Beyond records and live performance, Abhishek has also composed and produced music for film and visual media, working closely with directors such as Onir and Nandini Godara.

Over the last decade, he has built a body of work grounded equally in musical sensitivity and technical precision — producing records, crafting sound design, mixing across genres, and composing scores for screen. At the heart of it all is a continuous process of learning and staying open: exploring new processes, collaborating across disciplines and pushing his own creative boundaries.

Shaurya Sarin
  • Shaurya is an artist, producer, composer and a mix/recording engineer who got into music at the age of 5 when he first started learning the guitar. Since then, he has also studied and practiced instruments like piano, harmonium and drums, while learning both hindustani and western classical music.

Having started work as an engineer/producer straight out of high school, Shaurya has worked with artists such as Tatva, Eshita Mahajan, Croonish, Aadya Jaiswal, RAIN, Apoorv Sharan, Aaira, and many more, covering a wide variety of genres and styles.

Shaurya also performs under the moniker “Imerohi”, whose music and visual expression, fuelled by student burnout, revolves around sleep, dance and revolution. He released a full length album titled “Time Lives Through Us” as his debut project as Imerohi. He has performed for IPs and organizations such as Algorave India, Alt Baithak, OutOfSequence, Ambient Drift, Smither Dynamics etc.

Shaurya expresses himself through a combination of acoustic and electronic media, making use of his knowledge of synthesis to create different sonic identities for different parts of his work.
